Aries
The festival in Aries, the festival in Easter, begins the new spiritual year. It is the first of three major festivals followed by the nine minor festivals, though we do not use the term lesser in the way we mortals usually use this term, i.e. with a sense of superiority over that which we consider inferior.
At each of the three major festivals certain forces are available for appropriation and distribution, in service and cooperation with Shamballa and the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planetary life.

For our service work together at Easter we work with the Forces of Restoration, as they are particularly active at the time of the Easter Festival. This is the 'Festival of The Risen Christ.' The Head of Hierarchy and the teacher of all, the expression of the Love of God. On this day the Hierarchy, which he guides and directs is recognised and the nature of God's Love is emphasised. It is the great Western and Christian festival.
These forces - The Forces of Restoration - emanate from the mind of God and are connected with the intelligence principle within the divine nature. It is peculiarly creative in nature carrying the "life which produces the birth of forms" and makes men think, plan and take action.
The Hierarchy is not occupied with restoring the old order which has governed our past. The restoration referred to is psychological in nature, working out as the restoration of the will to live and the will to good. Consequently it is foundational, guaranteeing the new civilization and culture. These forces are concerned with human vision, human integrity and human relations as they underlie the entire problem of the brotherhood of man.
